Inviting Team Members and Managing Roles

Collaborate effectively by inviting team members and setting appropriate permissions.

Adding Team Members

Step 1: Send Invitations

  1. Navigate to SettingsTeam
  2. Click "Invite Member"
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select their role (see below)
  5. Add a personal message (optional)
  6. Click "Send Invitation"

Step 2: Team Member Accepts

  • They receive an email with an invitation link
  • Click the link to create their account
  • They're automatically added to your organization

User Roles & Permissions

Owner

  • Full system access
  • Manage billing and subscription
  • Add/remove users
  • Delete organization
  • Change organization settings

Administrator

  • Manage team members (except Owner)
  • Create and manage all bids
  • Upload and manage documents
  • Configure templates and settings
  • View analytics and reports

Bid Manager

  • Create and manage bids
  • Upload documents
  • Use templates
  • View tender opportunities
  • Cannot manage team members or billing

Contributor

  • View and edit assigned bids
  • Upload documents to specific bids
  • Use templates
  • Cannot create new bids or manage team

Viewer

  • Read-only access
  • View bids and tenders
  • Cannot edit or create content
  • Useful for executives or consultants

Best Practices

Assign Roles Based on Responsibility

  • Keep number of Owners minimal (1-2)
  • Administrators for senior bid team
  • Bid Managers for active proposal writers
  • Contributors for subject matter experts
  • Viewers for stakeholders and reviewers

Use Teams for Large Organizations

  • Create teams for different divisions
  • Assign tenders to specific teams
  • Track team performance separately

Set Clear Workflows

  • Define who creates bids
